The Burlington Women's Fastball League (BWFL) is a recreational fastball league comprised of ladies 19+, with an average player age of approximately 30 years. Players of various calibers come from
Games are played at 6:00 pm on Sunday evenings at Nelson Park in south east
This is an opportunity for adults, co-workers, family and friends to stay active, spend time together, meet new people and have fun. Players register as individuals and the league makes every effort to create balanced, competitive teams while allowing for reciprocating friends* to play together.
Ultimately, our goal is to provide an enjoyable, engaging evening of activity. We also encourage players to join their team at our host bar following the games; this allows us to socialize and get to know each other better (friend or foe!).
Each team is provided with jerseys, equipment, a scorebook and a copy of the league rules. Players must provide their own cleats (optional) and glove.
